Paragliders in Swiss Normandy
After a very dry couple of months and an arid start to the month, Autumn has caught up with Calvados. It's still very mild, but there are periods of rain and wind.
However, Calvados is one of the few areas of France not suffering from a shortage of water, so the rain is more welcome than otherwise.
It's an ideal time to walk in the countryside. The leaves are beginning to turn brown, but it's still warm enough not to have to wrap up against the wind.
